Sensitive DC millivoltmeter for locating earth contacts of insulated sheathed shields or plastic-insulated wires.

  • High-quality DC galvanometer with switch-able amplifier
  • Indicator for locating sheath faults on plastic-insulated PE and VPE cables
  • Detection of intensity and polarity of test voltage allows position of fault to be reliably detected
  • Interfering DC voltage can be suppressed by means of compensation network

In conjunction with Sheath measuring device
MMG5 ESG 80-2 can also be used for post-location by the method of step voltage. It can also be used as a measuring add-on (galvanometer) to High voltage
bridge MVG5.
